“Utilities are in crisis. Floods, droughts, the cost of living and the war in Ukraine – energy and water companies have been battered on every front. But through it all, they remain committed to keeping the lights on, the taps running and the gas flowing. Against this backdrop, delivering secure, sustainable and affordable public services requires collaborative innovation, as well as deep market reform and an active commitment to resilience in all its guises. Utility Week Live is where this is delivered".

UNMISSABLE SHOW FEATURES
NEW! House of the Future
A staggering 40% of the UK’s carbon emissions come from homes, meaning a radical rethink of how we insulate, heat and power our homes is absolutely critical if the UK is to meet its ambitious net-zero targets. In recognition of utilities’ leading role on this all-important issue, Utility Week Live is delighted to launch a new feature for 2023, The House of the Future, demonstrating the art of the possible in retrofitting, smart home and EV charging solutions.
Spring Water Innovation Zone
Now in its second year, we’re delighted to welcome back the UK’s leading water companies including Severn Trent, Anglian Water, Northumbrian Water, Welsh Water and United Utilities in association with Spring, the industry’s Centre of Excellence, showcasing their cutting-edge innovation projects. With a new layout reflecting the areas of focus for water innovation, the Spring Water Innovation Zone at Utility Week Live is the must-attend home of innovation in UK water.
EIC Innovation Zone
The Energy Innovation Centre is once again central to Utility Week Live, bringing together two complementary feature areas – the Innovation Zone, playing host to some of the most exciting new companies in the energy space; and the Network Innovation Zone, where energy networks including UW Power Networks, Northern Powergrid, SSE and Scottish Power will be sharing their innovations.
This space is a celebration of all the network sector has achieved with its longstanding commitment to collaborative innovation, and a must-attend, both for those involved in energy innovation themselves, and those who want to take its lessons back to their own businesses.
Isle’s Innovation Zone
One of Utility Week Live’s most popular features, we’re delighted to welcome back the Water Innovation Zone. The space plays host to SMEs and innovators who are bringing fresh ideas to the water sector. It includes its very own dedicated theatre space, where Isle will be running their own content programme across the two days.
