Wilkinson, OBE and are a leading provider in the wholesale welding industry and air compressor markets.

At Wilkinson Star, we know the importance of staying ahead of industry trends and technologies. That's why we offer training and education programs through our 11 bay Welding Academy, ensuring that our customers have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. Our commitment to innovation also extends to our product offerings, such as our hand held laser welding systems which provide cutting-edge solutions for our customers.

Over 10 years ago we created the Inverter Technology Centre in Manchester where we are able to repair PC boards to component level. Our production facilities include air compressor assembly from tank spraying, base and machine assembly to testing and PDI as well as welding torch production. During 2023 we opened our Wardley Cross Site which is home to our state of the art showroom, meeting and additional warehouse facilities, marketing and design team and print room facility. 

In addition, we are dedicated to supporting our local communities. Through partnerships with various charities, we strive to make a positive impact in the areas where we operate. In 2025 we look to take our total fundraising  to £50,000.00 for the Christie Cancer Hospital based in Manchester.
