Across utilities, local authorities, and developers, we all have a burning list of environmental requirements that are critical for shaping a sustainable future, whether it's flood risk mitigation, nutrient neutrality or carbon reduction. However, these needs are often fragmented or siloed within individual organisations, without wider visibility, making it difficult for us all to plan effectively, align efforts and resources that could drive meaningful and efficient progress.
The Challenge:
How might we better understand and align the environmental needs of utilities, local authorities, and developers to overcome planning barriers and drive investment to create thriving catchments and accelerated environmental improvements?
In this fast-paced session, we’ll explore what our most pressing environmental needs are, address barriers to delivery, and generate ideas to overcome the most critical areas.
The outcome? An understanding of what is required to make our nation's future sustainable and the opportunity to work through a solution at a second event at Northumbrian Water's Innovation Festival (11 July).
