Vicky, as CEO of SP Energy Networks, leads a business with responsibility for getting the electricity from power generators to all 3.5 million customers in Central and South Scotland, Merseyside and North Wales. It employs around 3,500 people directly and another 3-4,000 people through partners and spends around £0.8Bn every year that directly benefits the communities it serves.Having joined the ScottishPower Group after leaving school, in a career spanning more than 30 years she has held a number of customer-focused senior leadership roles in the Retail and Networks divisions. During that time Vicky also completed two international assignments for Iberdrola in North America with PacifiCorp and Avangrid. Vicky has experience in leading large, diverse, geographically spread teams to achieve step change in performance.In 2020 she was appointed Chief Operating Officer of SP Energy Networks, responsible for all Transmission and Distribution operations. As CEO, Vicky is responsible for leading the business through the crucial RIIO-T2 and ED-2 price control periods, improving the service we provide to our customers and stakeholders, maintaining a safe, secure and resilient network, and driving the transformation needed to ensure that SP Energy Networks plays a fundamental role in delivering a just transition to Net Zero.
