Tom leads the Hydrogen Demand team at the Department for Energy Security at Net Zero. He is responsible for developing government policy to support the uptake of low carbon hydrogen to meet the government's climate ambitions. He has a background in electricity sector decarbonisation and designing commercial support schemes for renewable power generators.
