Roger has been involved in the integration of mechanical systems for the control of environments for 21 years. After gaining a Doctorate in Aerodynamics, he spent 10 years both in the US and Europe designing, installing, and commissioning climatic test facilities for the automotive and HVAC industries. He subsequently moved into the ground source heatpump industry with one of the leading installers in the UK. As Engineering Director, he supervised the design of an extensive number of innovative installations and was heavily involved in the commissioning process and its integration with the other building systems. For the last 10 years he was been working at Hoare Lea developing the performance team that looks at how buildings actually operate and helping to save carbon and energy for our clients. He has more recently been providing more strategic advice to clients for Carbon Management.
