Phillipa Slater has more than 20 years of international experience in the energy industry. A Chartered Engineer with a background in civil engineering, she joined National Grid Electricity Distribution from RWE Offshore where she was Director of Engineering responsible for all aspects of engineering, innovation, and package management across the globe. Over the last 10 years Phillipa has been dedicated to delivering the energy transition, at the forefront of a wide-ranging number of initiatives to accelerate deployment and address the issues around security of supply and flexible generation that come with renewable technologies. As Director of Asset Management, Phillipa is responsible for driving improved asset performance, asset risk management approaches and efficient Operations Support across the UKs largest DNO.
