Oli is the Lead Behavioural Scientist in the Sustainable Future mission at Nesta. His work focuses on how to apply behavioural insights to develop policies to accelerate the decarbonisation of domestic homes in the UK. Oli is a mixed methods researcher who specialises in quantitative methods, including impact evaluation design and randomised controlled trials. Recent work includes estimating the impact of energy-saving advice on household gas consumption and exploring whether heat pumps can be used flexibly. Oli previously worked as a research advisor at the Behavioural Insights Team. Oli has a MSc in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and a MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
