Neil has over 30 years’ experience in the utilities sector, covering energy, water and metering, leading a diverse range of business from asset management, construction and operations. He has worked in client-side organisations, large contracting firms and as a consultant. He joined Severn Trent in June 2021 to lead the development of the in-house design capability and preparing the organisation for the significant increase in growth in the next regulatory period, AMP8. A chartered engineer and Fellow of IMechE, Neil is always keen to stress that he is far from an expert in the any of the diverse areas he has worked across but knows enough to ask the simple but difficult questions.
