Loukas is one of the UK’s leading innovators in grid decarbonisation. His work as heat lead for UK Power Networks Innovation team is helping lay the groundwork for Net Zero, reducing heat emissions across the wider network and removing barriers customers in vulnerable circumstances face when looking to decarbonise. Among his many decarbonisation projects, he is currently exploring the barriers in the decarbonisation of multi occupancy buildings and the previously untapped potential of heat networks in the energy transition.Loukas previously worked as an electrical design engineer in building services and risk manager of large infrastructure project.
