Lila is the CEO of British Water which represents the interests of UK water and wastewater supply chain companies together with wider stakeholders across the sector. British Water delivers its services through the UK, Technical and International forums and a fourth forum, The Water Industry Forum, which provides challenge-led, independent thought leadership, to explore the challenges facing the sector. British Water works to bring a coherent voice on behalf of the industry and ensure its members have access to information and contacts to enhance their businesses and help promote best practice in the sector. Lila was formerly responsible for British Water’s international services and lead business development visits to a range of markets including Saudi Arabia, Libya, Morocco, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, China and India. Lila has over 20 years of experience driving business growth, policy development and stakeholder engagement in a variety of sectors.
