Isabelle Adams is the Director for the Great Grid Partnership (GGP) at National Grid. GGP sits at the heart of the UK energy transition and will initially support the delivery of nine major onshore infrastructure projects of the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI). Pioneering collaborative ways of working together, the GGP - which includes two design and five construction partners - represents £4.5 billion worth of network infrastructure, the biggest upgrade to the National Grid in several generations. The partners have been specifically selected to adopt new and innovative delivery approaches. Isabelle has planned and delivered major infrastructure for over 20 years for some of the world's most cutting-edge programmes including Transport for London and Auckland Rail. She uses a strategic approach and democratic style to lead and create cohesive teams to deliver complex programmes.
