Iain has worked in the Energy IT industry for the past decade with the last 5 years within SSEN Transmission. Iain has been responsible for defining and developing the IT and Digital capabilities that SSEN Transmission need to support the investments in the Transmission Network in the north of Scotland that will enable Great Britain’s Net Zero ambitions. Iain has recently moved to a new role leading Operational Technology and Cyber for SSEN Transmission -this is a critical role both in terms of enabling Network growth into RIIO-T3 and maturing the Cyber Security capabilities required to mitigate a complex set of ever changing external threats.
