Rose leads the Energy Systems Catapult’s pioneering work on consumer vulnerability in a low carbon smart energy system and is the Technical Lead on the Warm Home Prescription programme. She works with a range of public and private sector clients on challenging experiments to ensure that low income and vulnerable consumers can participate in the current and future energy system. She combines valuable insights and proven design methods to help shape policy, products and services that will better serve people’s needs. Rose is a frequent speaker, chair and author of key reports on the topic of consumer vulnerability in a low-carbon future. She holds a PhD in social research, looking at how decisions made in energy policy and through community action impact on the behaviours of older fuel poor households in England.
