Drawing on 25 years experience as a journalist and manager in newsrooms, Dan advises companies in the public eye how to handle a range of financial, political and social challenges. He has a particular interest in technology and industrial clients as well as the broader reputational questions facing business. Prior to joining Brunswick he worked as a business editor and columnist for the Financial Times, the Guardian and the Daily Telegraph group, led large teams of journalists as deputy editor of the Sunday Telegraph and head of national news at the Guardian and spent 7 years reporting in the US, latterly as Washington bureau chief during the 2016 election. He is the recipient of five reporting awards as well as a contributor to the Guardian's 2014 Pulitzer prize for public service journalism.
