Alex joined National Grid in February 2023. She is responsible for consenting, land, planning reform and external affairs across NGET. Alex’s background is in nationally significant infrastructure projects. She has led the communications and consultation teams for Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C and the DCO team at Gatwick Airport. Alex was also Communications Director at Crossrail for the two years prior to the Elizabeth Line launching. Alex has a wide range of experience in corporate affairs across highly regulated and often politically sensitive industries and businesses. She lives in London with her two teenage children.
