Ground Control is a professional landscaping, construction and maintenance company with over 50 years of experience managing land and creating BALI award-winning landscaping and flood alleviation schemes.
Working with commercial clients, developers, and landowners, our design and build projects proactively support clients to avoid expensive and disruptive damages caused by flooding. Flood and drainage solutions consider the landscape and built environment and take appropriate action to increase flood resilience.
Services include:
- Designs and planning solutions that work with existing and future infrastructure.
- Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and construction projects that consider stormwater runoff, water quality, and biodiversity. Features include: rain gardens, wetlands, green roofs, and swales.
- Attenuation and settlement ponds installed by professional hydrologists and civil engineers.
- Wetland and pond management including reed bed management, wetland planting and maintenance.
Our design team, made up of Landscape architects, civil engineers, hydrologists and ecologists, work collaboratively to develop nature-based and civil-based flood alleviation schemes (FAS).
Solutions can be installed by our construction teams, working with hydrologists and civil engineers, and subsequently maintained by our nature-first grounds maintenance division.
